Dr. Jordan Carqueville - Dermatologist

Dr. Carqueville attended medical school at Rush University Medical Center and completed her residency in Dermatology at Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago. While completing a dermatopathology fellowship at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, she also undertook a mentorship with one of the country’s most respected cosmetic dermatologists in Hollywood, California. After practicing for a number of years in Chicago, Dr. Carqueville completed an additional fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at the Chesnut Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. Today, Dr. Carqueville is triple board certified. Her passion for her patients continues to drive Dr. Carqueville to keep learning new techniques to bring to her practice. 

With a specialty in cosmetic and surgical dermatology, Dr. Carqueville is an expert in the assessment and treatment of the aging face. She is highly skilled in treating facial wrinkles and volume loss with injectable fillers and neurotoxins, and is a leader in her field for the latest laser treatment methods for pigmentation, skin texture and tightening. From gentle exfoliators to microdermabrasion, microneedling, and laser treatments — Dr. Carqueville’s clients look to her for individualized care that will keep their skin looking fresh and feeling healthy.

Dr. Carqueville also enjoys treating patients of all types and ages for general and surgical dermatology. Her advanced training and experience ensures every patient receives top-quality treatment at every visit. She is experienced in performing sclerotherapy for varicose veins, acne surgery and earlobe repair. 

Dr. Carqueville founded The Derm Institute of Chicago, where she serves as Medical Director.

When she is not with patients, speaking at events or instructing medical students, Dr. Carqueville enjoys spending time with her family, surfing, skiing, sculpting, playing tennis and traveling.

 

Education and Training

Dr. Carqueville received her undergraduate education at Washington University, graduating with honors, and medical school at Rush University Medical Center. She completed her residency in dermatology at Stroger Hospital of Cook County, where she was elected Chief Resident. Following her residency, Dr. Carqueville attended the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA for a fellowship in dermatopathology while also receiving mentorship with one of the country’s most respected cosmetic dermatologists in Hollywood, California.

After her time in Los Angeles, Dr. Carqueville saw patients as a dermatologist and dermatopathologist at a local private practice in Chicago. Always committed to training, Dr. Carqueville then undertook an additional fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at the Chesnut Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Carqueville currently has an academic appointment as a Clinical Instructor at Stroger Hospital of Cook County in the Division of Dermatology. Dr. Carqueville is a published, peer-reviewed author and invited speaker at various dermatologic professional association meetings around the world. She is also conversationally fluent in Spanish.
